India McGlynn BSc (Hons), MSc (Clinical Nutrition)

India McGlynn is a coach, educator and former international athlete whose career has been shaped by a lifelong commitment to performance, learning and helping people move with confidence. As co-owner of KHP Gym in Sandyford, she brings world-class expertise in strength training, nutrition, and human performance to the members she works with every day.

India grew up competing in gymnastics and swimming from the age of seven, eventually specialising in competitive swimming and representing Ireland at international level. She captained the UCD Swim Team, broke national records and trained as a scholarship athlete while completing her BSc in Food Science at University College Dublin.

A series of injuries in her final year shifted her focus from elite swimming to strength development — a turning point that sparked her passion for coaching people outside the competitive sports world. After working in food safety, she chose to pursue coaching full-time.

India has been coaching since the age of 13, beginning as a swim coach and continuing to develop her qualifications across personal training, strength coaching and nutrition. Over the past four years she has completed a Masters in Clinical Nutrition (University of Aberdeen) and is now completing a second Masters in Sports & Performance Nutrition (IOPN, London).

Her coaching background spans private gyms, commercial facilities and community settings across Dublin, working with athletes, desk-based professionals, busy parents, those returning from injury and people who simply want to build strength, fitness and confidence.

India’s approach sits at the heart of KHP’s Train. Learn. Connect. philosophy. As an educator, she helps members understand not just what they’re doing, but why it matters — making her a key driver of the Focus Method, KHP’s structured training system built on Strength, Flexibility, Endurance and Skill.

She is also an ambassador for HerSport.ie, proudly supporting visibility and development for women in sport across Ireland.

India’s ethos is simple: help people find a way of moving that feels good, makes sense, and gives them the physical freedom to say yes to more in their lives — whether that’s sport, adventure, family or everyday confidence.
